New Zealand vs Pakistan 2nd T20I 2025 Highlights

In the second Twenty20, the host Kiwis defeated Pakistan.

The toss of the match played in Dunedin was delayed due to rain, Pakistan had set New Zealand a target of 136 runs which the Kiwis achieved in 13.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.

In the second match of the 5-match T20 series, New Zealand won the toss and decided to field, but due to rain, the match consisted of 15.15 overs per innings.

Against New Zealand, Pakistan did not start well and the first wicket fell for one run, in which opener Hassan Nawaz was dismissed for zero, after which Muhammad Harith could not stay at the crease for long and returned to the pavilion after scoring 11 runs in a total of 19.

Pakistan’s third wicket went for 50 runs and Irfan Khan was out for 11 runs, while after the third, the fourth wicket went for 52 in which Khushdil Shah only walked for 2 runs.

Pakistan’s fifth wicket scored 76 runs and captain Salman Agha was out after scoring 46 runs off 28 balls, whose Shadab scored 26 runs off 14 balls and lost a wicket for a total of 110.

Pakistan’s seventh wicket fell for 111 runs and Jehandad Khan was out for zero while Pakistan’s eighth wicket fell for 114 runs, Abdul Samad scored 11 runs while the ninth wicket fell for 135 runs and Harith Rauf was run out after scoring one run.

A change was made in the national team for the second Twenty20, Harith Rauf returned to the team in place of spinner Abrar Ahmed.

It should be noted that the host New Zealand has taken a two-nil lead in the 5-match series against Pakistan.
